Speakeasy

It’s June 1930 and the United Stateshas been dry for the past 10 years. But that doesn't mean that alcohol hascompletely disappeared from the scene. Join us in this trip back through timeto a world of “blind pigs,” bathtub gin, and flappers. Costumed interpreterswill escort you through the underground world of the Ohio Villageas you learn how the 18th Amendment sent alcohol from public barsand taverns to secret watering holes. Venture into the pharmacy for a“prescription” and learn how alcohol was made in bathtubs and hidden stills.Listen to cool jazz tunes while sipping some favorite drinks of the prohibitionera, but watch out for the temperance league members and, worse yet, thepolice!
