Suburban Symphony Orchestra Annual Young Soloists Concert

The winners of the Suburban Symphony Annual Young Soloists' Concert Competition are: Arthur Erlendsson, Hawken School, piano, a student of Antonio Pompa-Baldi, performing the Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor, first movement; Henry Shapard, University School, cello, student of Richard Weiss, performing Lalo Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in D minor, first movement; and Mariko Shimasaki, Kenton Ridge High School, violin, student of Dr. Won-Bin Yim, performing Lalo Symphonie Espagnole, first movement. The guest conductor for the concert is Domenico Boyagian, Music Director of the Ohio Philharmonic in Cleveland.
