Berlin Farmstead Restaurant
Located near the hub of downtown Berlin, Farmstead Restaurant is not
only a convenient gathering spot for our local crowd, but a short walk
or drive from most shops or hotels in the bustling village.
A relatively new addition to Berlin, The Farmstead has quickly become a
favored spot for get-togethers. Built in 2003 on John and Rita Yoder's
family farm, the cupola-topped family restaurant is nestled off busy
State Highway 62 in a private and rather quiet nook of town.
Breakfast, served from 7am to 10:30am, includes fluffy buttermilk
hotcakes, golden slices of fried mush with sausage gravy or syrup, and
warm biscuits topped with homemade sausage gravy.
For lunch or dinner, try one of our specialty sandwiches, such as The Reuben or The Rachel, made with our own fresh baked bread, local meats and cheeses then grilled to perfection. Or, opt for a full dinner such as smoked ham, pork and sauerkraut or
salmon. There’s also a
great Kid’s Menu, with all their favorites, and lighter options,
including homemade soups and chef salads.
Our Hot Dinner Buffet is served through Lunch and Dinner with dishes such as broasted chicken, beef, real mashed potatoes, noodles, desserts and our Farmstead salad bar - choose from rows of fresh vegetables,
fruits, coleslaw, potato salad, and regional specialties such as mustard
or picked red beet eggs.
A meal in an Amish home is not complete without a homemade pie,
pudding or cake to top off the meal. Desserts at The Farmstead include
the traditional double-crust fruit pies, rich smooth cream pies and date
