Van Gogh Celebrates the Bicentennial of Columbus at North Market

During the month of April, 2012, Jim Siemer will celebrate the Bicentennial of Columbus by unveiling his new paintings titled "German Village Starry Night" and "Starry Night over Columbus." These two new paintings will be added to Siemer's painting titled "Short North Cafe at Night". In these three paintings Siemer celebrates Columbus by transforming each of Vincent van Gogh's famous Starry Night paintings into scenes of Columbus. Jim Siemer will also exhibit his other paintings of Columbus and Ohio scenes at North Market. Jim is honored to exhibit his paintings at North Market because it is his favorite destination in Columbus. Jim is a local artist who as been painting watercolors for over 20 years. Since Jim's family built a cottage up on Middle Bass, Island in the early 80's, many of his paintings are of Lake Erie scenes. Recently he has been focusing on creating paintings of Columbus and other beautiful places in Ohio. Jim's artwork can be found in gift shops and galleries in Columbus and in the Lake Erie region.
