Ever since his wild early days as a front man for the Lost Planet Airmen, Commander Cody, a truly unique and iconoclastic figure, has brought his barrel house, rockabilly, boogie-woogie piano playing to the American music scene. He scored a Top 10 hit off his debut album with the song "Hot Rod Lincoln." Cody's crew practices a loose-jointed, rollicking brand of bar-room boogie woogie that sounds like it's been steeped in beer fumes. They are legendary for marathon live shows.
