Toledo Police Museum

The Toledo Police Museum, located at 2201 Kenwood Boulevard, is in the beautiful Ottawa Park. Much work was done to create an inviting venue where our visitors can discover the history of the Toledo Police Department.

Do you know what a Semaphore is or what a Callbox was used for? At the Toledo Police Museum both these items are on display.

The museum will intrigue and educate children with its interactive exhibits which includes being locked inside a jail cell, activating police lights, or having their mug shot taken by a booking camera.
Adults can see the events that shaped both the City of Toledo and the Toledo Police Department, as they come to life in our historic timeline display. History buffs will love our historical artifacts some dating back to the late 1800’s, including equipment, transportation, badges, photographs, police uniforms, weapons and technology.
