Slab building class at clayspace

This exciting eight week handbuilding class instructed by clayspace artist Todd Hickerson offers students an opportunity to design and construct boxes, platters, and large vessels with clay slabs. There is a strong emphasis on surface decoration using texture and colored slips as well as glazing and firing. Students are encouraged to explore their own interests with support for individual projects. $240 per person includes 8 weeks of instruction, 25 lbs of clay, open studio time during the session and a student gallery show with a raku firing on October 26....more
