Maple Sugarin' at the Prairie

Enjoy guided tours through history and science to learn the process of turning sap into syrup. Visit the Sugar Shack to warm up in the steam-?lled evaporator room, and learn about the countless hours of boiling to reduce sap down to syrup. Visit with the 200-year-old pioneers and discuss 18th century life at the Log House. Wrap up your visit at the Nature Center where the gift shop will be full of maple goodies for your sweet tooth.
