Follow the Fish Art and Adventure Trail
A public-art campaign celebrating art, nature, sustainability, Lorain County business and tourism began with this installation of an outdoor dancing-fish sculpture at the 46th Lorain International Festival and Bazaar at the Black River Landing. These dancing-fish centerpieces each feature 18 moveable fish perched atop nine poles in a metal base.
Follow the Fish Art and Adventure Trail, conceived by Lorain County artist Jim Gundlach in collaboration with local artists and citizens, brings together artists, students and community members in an outdoor art project that lines Ohio Route 6 with hundreds of kinetic fish sculptures. Participating communities are Avon Lake, Lorain, Sheffield Lake and Vermilion.
