Bridges of Union County

When visiting Union County be sure to visit our bridges by following the Bid Darby Plains Scenic Byway signs (Ohio Byway).  There are four historical covered bridges built by Reuben Partridge between 1860 and 1870s. They are the Bigelow Bridge on Axe Handle Road, the Culbertson Bridge on Winget Road, the Spain Creek Bridge on Inskeep Crotty Road and the Pottersburg Bridge, 17141 Inskeep Cratty Road, Marysville was moved to its present site at the end of paved walking trail going to North Lewisburg.  New covered bridges built are the Buck Run Road Bridge built in 2006, New North Lewisburg Road Bridge built in 2006 and Thompson Road Bridge built in 2010.
