Whipple’s Whimsical Toys is a very different toy shopping experience. Almost museum-like, you will shop and peruse the toys you and you parents played with. Not antique toys, but newly made toys from the era of the past. Toys you actually have to “play” with.
Our toys generally do not move themselves or think for themselves. They require “hands on” play just like we did when we were kids. Old-style toys go a long way toward building imagination and creativity, and that is why we chose to create this one-of-a-kind toy store.
Everything from jacks to Lincoln logs to Duncan yo-yos to Slinkys… you are sure to see something for your little ones that brings back memories for you. What better way to share those memories with your kids and grandkids than to give them a chance to actually experience it! When is the last time you saw a box kite, balsa wood airplane or a handmade all day sucker as big as your head?
