Take a Hike: Gateway District Tour
Meets every Thursday at 6 PM in the Arcade (401 Euclid Avenue).
Explore the history, culture and future plans of the Gateway District in Downtown Cleveland. Each tour lasts approximately one and a half hours in length and features talented actors and actresses portraying important Clevelanders from the past. Tour attendees may "meet" Frances Payne Bolton, Mayor Tom Johnson or Garrett Morgan along the way.
Admission is free. Donations are encouraged to help fund future tours.
This Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation program is presented by Dollar Bank. Take a Hike is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
Program partners include Downtown Cleveland Alliance, Historic Warehouse District, PlayhouseSquare, Cleveland Magazine, Bob Zimmer of Keller Williams Realty, WDOK Cleveland's New 102, Ohio Canal Corridor and Ohio & Erie Canalway.
