Warren Wildlife Area

The 40-acre Warren Wildlife Area lies in northeast Ohio, south-central Trumbull County, Weathersfield Township. It is located on Austintown Warren Road three miles south of the city of Warren. There is a small marsh located in the center of the area. The area consists primarly of bottomland hardwoods.

The area provides good hunting opportunities for white-tailed deer, wild turkey, squirrel, and some waterfowl. There is limited trapping for raccoon, mink, and muskrat. There is opportunity for fishing along the Mahoning River. Beaver and otter can be trapped by permit only.

Many species of nesting and migrating birds also use this area at different times of the year, providing birdwatching opportunities.

There is one parking lot on the west side of the area off Austintown-Warren Road.
