Mohler Wildlife Area

This 46-acre wildlife area is situated in northeastern Ohio in western Holmes County. The area is located a half-mile south of State Route 3 and approximately 2 miles east of Loudonville.

Hunting for rabbits, deer and woodchucks is good on the area because of the uniform distribution of crop fields, shrubby coverts, grassland, and woods. Raccoon hunting and trapping is most productive along Plum Run and on the oak ridge on the south side of the area. The oak ridge is also productive for squirrel hunting.

County and township roads provide good access to the wildlife area. A small parking lot has been built in the center of the area.
