Fallsville South Wildlife Area

Fallsville Wildlife Area - South Unit is in southwest Ohio, 4 miles north of Hillsboro. The 379-acre Wildlife Area is a combination of fields, rolling hills, pine stands, and hardwoods. A beautiful eight-acre lake is located in the center of the area.

Hunters will find good opportunities for deer, turkey, quail, rabbit, squirrel, dove, and waterfowl. Bluegill and largemouth bass fishing is excellent in the eight-acre lake. The fishing is catch and release only, which will insure a quality fishing opportunity. Trapping opportunities exist for muskrat, mink, raccoon, and coyote.

Parking lots are situated on West Lane and Careytown Road. Walking trails are maintained to provide easier access to the pond.
