Traces of Time, Traces of Glory

Coshocton County is rich in Native American artifacts. Specific sites Near the Walhonding River and Mohawk Dam were excavated in the 1960's and yielded many stone tools. Amateur archaeologists have discovered celts, arrowheads, hammerstones and grooved axes left by the Adena and Hopewell Indians. Local enthusiasts will display their treasures.
