Huntsburg Pumpkin Festival

Go a little bit country this fall.  Take a drive to the 41st annual Huntsburg Pumpkin Festival in Huntsburg, Ohio for a dose of good ol' fashioned small town fun.  What to do:  Join the kid's parade, enter the pumpkin roll contest,  eat a lot of pumpkin pie, compete in the bubble gum blowing contest, eat pancakes, and try to win a prize basket.  There will be plenty of contests and games for all.

The star attraction will be the giant pumpkins.  Some pumpkins will way over 1,000 ponds.  And Huntsburg is the home of the Ohio 2003 - 2007 record pumpkin weighing 1,370 pounds, grown by Jerry Rose Jr. of Huntsburg.
