The J.H. Fentress Antique Popcorn Museum
As one of only two museums of its kind in the country, The J. H. Fentress Antique Popcorn Museum houses one of the largest, most diverse collections of antique popcorn machines, peanut roasters, and popcorn-related memorabilia in existence.Over 35 original popcorn machines and peanut roasters – including rare models from as early as 1900 – share the nicely renovated WWII-era building with hundreds of colorful old signs and print advertisements, popcorn tins, and popcorn/peanut boxes and bags. A 1926 Butter-Kist Shop popcorn truck is a new addition for 2012. Group and individual tours with demonstrations are free and conducted year-round by appointment. Contact Jim Fentress at 419-308-4812 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Located at 7922 Hill Avenue in Holland, just west of Toledo and a few miles south of the Ohio-Michigan state line.
