Country Hearth Christmas In Burton Village
The Burton Log Cabin will be the hub of activity over the five day event. Come snuggle up to the roaring fire, relax on a rocker and learn all about making pure maple syrup. Enjoy a holiday tradition when you bring the youngsters in with their gift requests for Santa. Santa will will be visiting with children from noon to 4 each day.
Friday evening there will be a lighted holiday parade at 6 P.M. At the completion of the parade the lights will be turned on in Burton Village Park. Carolers will be singing in the Gazebo.
The shops on Main Street will be hosting various events and activities. All shops are locally owned and unique. Antiques, hand-blown glass items, Amish made rugs and vintage furniture are a few of the items that can be found in the shops.
Burton Village is the western gateway to the fourth largest Amish community in the world. Horse-drawn buggies rumble through town. A light dusting of snow turns the village into a picture perfect setting for a special shopping experience.
Come visit Burton Village and see what the holidays were like in a less hectic time. The entire family can have a day filled with fun and have the opportunity to check off items on the holiday list.
Plenty of free parking. There are two lovely bed & breakfasts in town for those who wish to stay longer and four distinctly different dining options.
