Old West Festival
The Old West Festival, the only event of its kind in Ohio, takes patrons back to Dodge City circa 1878. The permanent Old West town is fun and educational for the whole family. Period interpreters walk about town greeting patrons and posing for photos. Kids can pan for gold, watch puppet shows, take a pony or covered wagon ride and they can even get sworn in as deputies for the day. There's plenty for the "Big Kids" as well: saloon shows, period music, old-fashioned melodramas and gunfight reenactments starting at high noon. Don't forget about the fabulous food and drink located all round town!
