How Children Learn About Other Cultures

"Bridges of Friendship" Series presents, "How Children Learn About Other Cultures" Exhibit.  Ellen C. traveled from Wilmington, Ohio, to Nagasaki, Japan, in 1927.  She is coming home to help tell the story of the Japanese-American Friendship Doll Exchange Program.

In this special exhibit, co-hosted by the Peace Resource Center, the Quaker Heritage Center, and Watson Library, visitors will see dolls, hear music, and read children's books from around the world.  Join us to discover the stories of Barbara Reynolds, Ellen C. Wright, and others who worked to help children build bridges of friendship.
