Moonville Tunnel Trail

Located deep in Zaleski Forest in Ohio near Lake Hope State Park, the Moonville Tunnel is all that remains from a small mining town that existed in the late 1850s. The Moonville Tunnel lies just across Raccoon Creek.

Moonville Rail Trail Association

The Moonville Rail Trail Association, a non-profit organization, wasestablished in April of 2001 in order to build and maintain themuscle-powered Moonville Rail Trail system. The Moonville Rail Trailwill extend from Red Diamond, which is near the Village of Zaleski,through the hills of Vinton County and end in scenic Athens County nearGrosvener. They hope to establish a trail system that will connect tothe Athens County Hockhocking Adena Bikeway. Visit their websitefor more information.
