Ulysses S. Grant's Birthday Celebration

Whether you're a lover of presidential history, a fan of our Ulysses S. Grant, enjoy a good Civil War Re-enactment or just like having a good time, this is one birthday celebration you don't want to miss!

Historic New Richmond is having their annual celebration of the life of Ulysses S. Grant at his birthplace at Pt. Pleasant.  The event is expanding this year due to the National Celebration of the 150th year anniversary of the start of the Civil War.  We are planning historic lectures, tours, local dignitaries will join in the festivities.  The grounds will come alive with re-enactors, costumed local folks, period music and food.
