Aumiller Park

Aumiller Park is the city's largest park, running along the Sandusky River. There are shelter houses (which may be reserved), picnic tables and grills throughout the park area. The Park is home to the City swimming pool and wadding pool and five ball diamonds including the new Rotary Club Field of Dreams. The Park also includes several horseshoe courts, lots of swings and playground equipment including a Playscape, a challenging Disc Golf Course, gazebo and restrooms. Concession stands are open during certain hours.

Aumiller is home to the Shunk Foundation Carillon Tower, which plays music notes every fifteen minutes and strikes the hours on the hour. At the South end of the park there is a beautiful suspension bridge over the Sandusky river that allows you take a long loop through the park, over the bridge, around Oakwood Cemetery walking path and back to the park. Aumiller Park is a great park for a leisurely stroll, brisk walk or bicycling. You'll even find an area where you can drive thru the Sandusky River (unless we have had heavy rain)! Aumiller Park is a beautiful park any time of year, especially filled with fun during the summer hours.
