Escape and Evasion Exhibit

This exhibit tells the exciting tale of the thousands of Airmen in World War II who evaded the enemy after being shot down and the local inhabitants who risked their lives to help. It includes many rare "tools of the trade" such as buttons that functioned as compasses and maps concealed in playing card decks.
