Portsmouth's 5th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival

The 7 Nations Celtic Club of Portsmouth will again play host to the 5th Annual St. Patrick's Day Festivities & Parade.



The celebration begins on Friday evening with music starting at 7:00 PM - 11:30 PM at Port City Pub featuring "The Ladies of Longford". The next day the festivities will begin at 10:00 AM when the antique stores open to give everyone watching the parade ample time to shop. Then, it's parade time!



The parade route will begin on Market St. and proceed through the Historic Boneyfiddle area. What a great time to do a little shopping in the antique & collectible shops while waiting for the parade to begin. Starting at 11:00 am the bagpipes, drum corps, military units, high school bands and floats will make their way through the streets of Portsmouth come rain or shine.



Come enjoy the day when eveyone is just "a wee bit Irish." Be a spectator or join in the fun by marching in the parade. After the parade join everyone at the Ports City Cafe & Pub to hear music by the Bloody Tinth, Cyril Scott Pipe Band , Ian Jones, Amhrain, The Rose Mountain Ramblers and the IRA'S (Interns Running Amuch with Celtic Rock).
