The Oxford Community Arts Center (OCAC) is housed in the historic Oxford College for Women located in Oxford's Square Mile.  The building is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a DAR Historic Site. 

OCAC is a nonprofit organization representing performing and visual community arts groups.  Our mission is to restore and maintain historic Oxford College as a permanent home for the arts in the Oxford area, to facilitate activities of the community arts organizations and to promote the arts and arts education.

The restoration of this building not only preserves an historical landmark, but also provides Oxford and the surrounding area a theater, ballroom, meeting and classroom facilities as well as studios for area artists.

Second Fridays Art Evening, a celebration of the arts, takes place on the Second Friday of each month from 6 to 10 p.m. throughout the year.   This free event includes music, exhibits of visual art and a reception.  Members of the Artists Collaborative host Open Studios on the third floor of the Arts Center giving guests the opportunity to view creative art space, as well as purchase one-of-a-kind artwork directly from the artists.  'Music In The Parlor, which begins at 8:00 pm in the North Parlor,  has become an integral part of  Second Fridays.  Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee and prepare to enjoy great entertainment in a relaxed friendly environment.   The Gallery at OCAC features artwork by local artists, with a new exhibit opening each month.
