Case-Barlow Farm Fall Harvest Fest
The Fall Harvest Fest features live entertainment, food and pumpkins to decorate. Many hands-on activities such as making butter, washing clothes with the old fashion ringer and tub, 2 man log sawing, decorating horse shoe picture frames and grape vine wreaths. Play traditional games such as sack races, 3-legged race, bobbing for apples, cakewalk, horseshoes and checkers. Demostrations of quilting, lace making, weaving, and rughooking. Antique cars and tractors display, farm animals to pet, wagon rides for everyone, pony rides for kids.
Chauncey and Cleopatra Case began the farm in 1814. It was home for 5 generations of the same family. In 1996, it was bought by a non-profit, independent corporation formed to restore the homestead and foster an appreciation of the spirit and heritage of its builders, owners and farm laborers.
