Sylvania Historical Village

The Village  is comprised of historical  buildings which represent the development of Northwest Ohio Valley. Visitors can tour the oldest train depot in Ohio which operated between 1858-1956; also on the grounds are an 1840 log house, a 1844 school house, 1850 barn, an innerurban locomotive and a wooden caboose.

 Ideally located on Sylvania's Main Street, the village has free admission and parking. 

Educational programs in the Museum are designed for second to fifth graders who study early Ohio, he Underground Railroad and the One Room School.
Programs are presented to school children, scouts and other community organizations. Group tours are scheduled by appointment.
