Moore House Museum

Built by former Lorain Mayor Leonard Moore and his family, the beautifully restored home now houses the Black River Historical Society's collections. Displays feature the Lorain Lighthouse, the 1924 Tornado, the city's shipbuilding and steel-making industries. Our Archives include books, newspaper articles and more than 18,000 photographs.
