Bucyrus Historical Society Museum

An experience into yesterday in Bucyrus. The Scroggs House is the home of the Historical Society Museum that is boasting a bounty of local and regional antiques, keepsakes and memorabilia, helping to preserve our historical treasures for today and future generations. The Carriage House located behind the home is designed in keeping with the Victorian ambiance of the main building. Inside the Carriage House is the unique horse-drawn steam fire engine from our own Bucyrus Fire Department and soon will be the home of the original Foxy's Popcorn Wagon.  This popcorn wagon was parked on the square by the Court House for many years, was sold to another city and recently has been purchased and is being restored for placement in the Carriage House for all to see.  Tours maybe arranged by contacting the Bucyrus Tourism & Visitors' Bureau.

Tours are $1.00 per person and must be arranged by contacting the Bucyrus Tourism and Visitors' Bureau before visiting the Historical Museum.
