Germantown MetroPark

Germantown MetroPark is one of 25 facilities within Five Rivers MetroParks, located in the Greater Dayton area.  A feeling of wildnerness pervades here.  Miles of scenic trails, some rugged, lead into deep forests, cedar glades and along Twin Creek.  Wildlife is abundant and can often be seen from the Nature Center Observation window. To get even closer to nature, take a trip on the 22-mile Twin Valley Backpacking Trail connecting Germantown and Twin Creek MetroParks. Camping opportunities are available throughout the trail and you will have the opportunity to experience the diverse terrain of southwest Ohio like never before. For more trail information, log on to metroparks.org.

Hours for the Nature Center are Sunday, Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The park grounds are open April 1 through October 31 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; November 1 through March 31 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
