Burton Log Cabin

Visit our log cabin on the square in Burton, Ohio. Owned and operated by the Burton Chamber of Commerce, the Log Cabin sells all types of Maple products! Choose from syrup, candy, maple spread and much more. We collect & boil sap at the log cabin during Maple Sugaring season (usually mid-February to mid-March depending on the weather)

Burton was settled in 1798 and is Geauga counties oldest and first official settlement. Celebrating its Bicentennial in 2006, Burton is a charming historical location known for its beauty, charm, historical contributions to the area and also its year around attractions.
  
We are the Burton Chamber of Commerce located in Geauga County Ohio. Our chamber is made up of businesses, professionals and civic minded people interested in networking and promoting the business environment and community spirit in and around Burton Township and Village.

    Your first stop - Burton, a hidden treasure all its own.  How about a visit to JC’s Restaurant (13816 W. Center St.) where you will find good home cooking with an array of breakfast choices made to your specification.  And as always amazing homemade pies.  

    Now that you are feeling nice and full, how about a leisurely stroll to
    Spring Street Antiques (14531 Main St.) Inventory includes 18th and 19th century furniture and accessories from the rustic to the refined.  If your taste runs more to the eclectic than Off Center Vintage Home Decor (14538 Main St.)  is a MUST stop.  A place where you can afford to buy antique and vintage furnishings to make your home unique and fun.  

    Make your way over to The Burton Log Cabin (14590 East Park St.)a working sugar house producing maple candy year round.  The cabin is open 7 days a week.  Thinking something a bit more historical come on into The Century Village Museum (14653 East Park St.) an authentic representation of a Western Reserve Village from 1798 to the turn of the 19th Century. Tours are available on Sat and Sun only. The grounds are open to walk through Mon-Fri.

    And last but not least – Take route 700 south thru Burton square 5 miles to Route 442 at the light turn left on route 422 and Aunties Antique Mall is about 3 miles down on your right. - (15567 Main Market , Parkman) over 140 booths in 15,000 square feet,  all beautifully displayed,  there's something for everyone, antique furniture, coins, glassware, kitchenware, books, toys and much more! Open 7 days a week.
