Dr. John Harris Dental Museum

The Dr. John Harris Dental Museum is located in the original home, medical office, dental office, and dental school, circa 1827-1830.  The museum displays dental artifacts which demonstrate the progress of dentristry through the years.  It was designated by the American Dental Association in 1939 to be "The Cradle of Dental Education" and as such is an important part of American history.  In the same complex is the Bainbridge Historical Society Museum, which is open by appointment and on special days.
