Bull's Run Arboretum

The Arboretum property contains the last free-flowing section of Bull's Run, which marked one of the original boundaries of the City of Middletown when it was plotted in 1802. The area was originally used as a grazing pasture for bulls in the mid-1800s.

The front of the Sanctuary serves as an arboretum, with labeled species of trees.  Bull's Run holds a picnic area, mulched trails, and a creek side trail one-third of a mile long. The property serves as a wildlife laboratory for local schools, garden clubs, conservation groups, and nature enthusiasts. Take a break from city life and enjoy all Bull's Run has to offer!
