Bucyrus Historical Museum Day
The Bucyrus Historical Society Museum will be hosting Bucyrus Historical Day that they hold each year for guests to renew their heritage and experience workmanship from yesterday will be on Saturday, July 27, 2013 on Rennselaer Street located beside the Museum. The street will be closed to traffic for the day and the crafters and vendors will set up along the street. There will be broom making, wood carving, homemade ice cream, food vendors, farm market, and a Monkey Grinder. Vendors change from year to year. Tours of the Museum and Carriage House will be conducted all day' The Historical Museum was opened for the first time on August 1, 1969. Many volunteer hours have been spent getting it to the quality it is today and displaying all the items that they have that helps people learn of the Bucyrus Heritage and History. The Carriage House will be open so everyone can enjoy the antique fire engineer inside. This is a great day of learning about the history of Bucyrus.
