Lincoln Highway Yard Sale
In commemoration of the first paved transcontinental highway - the Lincoln Highway, which is Main Street in Van Wert - the community participates in the Lincoln Byway Yard Sale, stretching across Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and West Virginia. All sorts of everyday objects will be found, along with food and beverage stands.
Van Wert also participates in the Highway 127 Yard Sale (The World's Longest Yard Sale). We are the only community in the world where these two gigantic sales meet.
