David Berger National Memorial

The David Berger National Memorial is a sculpture created in 1975 by internationally renowned Cleveland, Ohio sculptor David E. Davis (1920-1902) to honor the memory of David Berger, an American/Israeli citizen who grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio. David Berger, age 28, a member of the Israeli weightlifting team, was one of the 11 Israeli athletes murdered at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, Germany.
