Enon Apple Butter Festival 2013
Enon Apple Butter Festival, sponsored by Enon Community Historical Society which supports various communitywide projects, including support of historical research library, 1840 log house, and Adena Native American mound, preservation of area history. The annual festival (second weekend in October) continues 33-plus years of cooking apple butter the old fashioned way over open fires in copper kettles (available for sale). It also features juried arts and crafts, specialty foods, other special features. Over 100 booths are supported by community organizations.
