The Twin City Opera House
The Twin City Opera House is one of the most beautiful and unique theaters in all of Southeast Ohio. Seating over 500 people in a classic Victorian atmosphere the theater shows first-run movies every weekend and presents a variety of live performances throughout the year.
The Twin City Opera House is also "home stage" to The Ohio Valley Opry, a locally produced evening of Country, Gospel and Bluegrass music performed on stage the 3rd Saturday of each month and featuring performers of local, state and national recognition. It's most often a full house so it's best to come early!
The theater is open for tours and available for special events, such as weddings, receptions, birthday parties or reunions. It's rich history, unusual first floor auditorium and fully functioning "fly" system make this a popular stop for theater historians. For video games enthusiasts the theater can be booked for special parties allowing gamers to play their favorite games on the "big screen".
