Darke County Park District

Discover the natural beauty of West Central Ohio. Our flat land offers wetlands, prairies, creek-side paths, woodland sanctuaries, old-growth forests and wildflowers to explore. These areas are the perfect locations to watch birds and other wildlife in their natural setting.

With more than 1,000 acres of parks and preserve areas, Darke County can please any outdoor enthusiast, naturalist or adventurer of today.

The Darke County Park District also offers an educational center at Shawnee Prairie Preserve, the Anthony Wayne Peace Council House, a canoe launch at Alice Bish Park and will soon claim home to a seven-mile lineal trail. Visit website for information and location of individual parks.
