Americana Festival

This old fashioned celebration of our nation's birthday will be held on Thursday, July 4th, in 2013.  The event kicks off on the evening of July 3rd with a flag ceremony and patriotic concert at 7pm at Stubbs Park in Centerville. 

The day-long Americana Festival, with an annual attendance of over 70,000,   features a 5K family run at 7:30 am, a parade at 10 am with 100+ units, and a street fair with over 300 arts, crafts and food vendors from 9:30 am till 5 pm, with live entertainment all day. There is also a large classic & antique car and truck show from 11 am till 4 pm. A 21 acre off-street park area is devoted to entertaining children and includes everything from pony rides and a water feature to a petting zoo and games.

This year we invite you to "Meet us at the Grove" again for relaxed dining and entertainment in the beautiful Benham's Grove area adjacent to the street fair. This relaxing venue offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the main street fair, while providing fun for the whole family.

The day culminates with entertainment at 8:30 pm and a spectacular fireworks display at 10:00 pm at the Centerville High School football stadium.
