Marion Popcorn Festival

The Annual Popcorn Festival offers free nationally-known entertainment, food concession stands, crafts, arts and rides. Don't miss the Popcorn 100 Bicycle Tour, Popcorn Softball Tournament and Popcorn 5K Run.



Inside the Palace Theatre at 2:00 pm on Thursday there will be a show for seniors with Robert James McArthur doing a tribute to Neil Diamond, with the parade starting at 6:00 p.m. Free entertainment at the outdoor main stage every night beginning at 8:30 p.m. Thursday night will be Bon Jovi Tribute Band, Friday night will be The Village People and Saturday night Jo Dee Messina.

Annual Marion Popcorn Festival

Celebrating claim to fame as the"Popcorn Capital of the World".This three day festival is always the Thurs., Fri., Sat. after Labor Day. Parade always on Thurs. at 6 and has 300 units. Free concerts at outdoor main stage with name entertainment.

    The Annual Marion Popcorn Festival is September 5,6,7, 2013. Always the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday after Labor Day.

    Enjoy visiting the Wyandot Popcorn Museum located under a circus tent inside Heritage Hall. One of the largest most impressive collections of popcorn wagons in the United States.

    In the festival area visit with Poppy the festival mascot along with crafts, art work, rides, local entertainment, food and popcorn!

    The first day of the festival a show for seniors is held inside the historic Palace Theatre at 2:00 p.m. free of charge. Then get ready for the 250 unit Marion Popcorn Festival Parade that kicks off at 6:00 p.m. Every evening name entertainment is held at the outdoor main stage at 8:30 p.m. free of charge.
