Tiffin Glass Museum and Glass Shoppe
The Tiffin Glass Museum opened in 1998 to honor the history of one of America's greatest glassmaking factories. The Museum exhibit includes over 2,000 examples of the glassware produced at the Tiffin factory from its beginning in 1889 as the A. J. Beatty & Sons Company until the end of production in 1980 as the Tiffin Glass Company. Museum preservation work includes acquiring memorabilia and historical documents.
The Museum is run by the volunteers of the Tiffin Glass Collectors Club. Visitors may browse at their leisure or receive a guided tour. Groups tours are also available - please contact us ahead of time and we will make special accommodations for your group.
In addition to the Museum, the adjacent Glass Shoppe is a multi-dealer shop loaded with elegant antique glassware for sale. In addition, Tiffin glass souvenirs, gifts and books are also available. Visitors to the Glass Shoppe who are veterans of antique shopping are always pleased by the high quality of the glassware for sale.
Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted.
