This park appeals to nature & history lovers, providing access to the Maumee River with remnants of the historic Miami & Erie Canal. Go hiking, horseback riding or biking on 6 miles of multi-use trail in the North Turkeyfoot Area. This is located about 5 miles north of the main park, on the north side of the Maumee River. Picnic tables, grills & restrooms are located along the river bank. A 1930s-era day lodge may be reserved for meetings. Call for reservations.

The Maumee River offers 20 miles of all boating, from sailing to speed boating. 4 ramps & a marina, which offers seasonal dock rental, are available. The river boasts excellent pike, walleye, bass, catfish & crappie fishing. Children enjoy fishing the pond near the marina. Hunting is permitted in designated zones in the North Turkeyfoot Area.

The campground offers 35 non-electric sites. Amenities include a picnic table & fire ring at each site, with flush restrooms nearby. Try hassle-free camping in a Camper Cabin.
