Ohio has over 29 designated mountain bike areas with over 300 miles of trails.  These are my 4 favorites.
Starting in the southeast section of the state is Lake Hope State Park.  One of Ohio’s best, Lake Hope offers 4 different trails with varying degrees of difficulty.  25 miles of total trail available.
Stop #2 is at Dillon State Park. This trail is hard packed and fast, no killer climbs here.  The Downhill’s range from straight and very fast to steep and technically challenging. This trail demands your attention. 12-miles
Stop #3 is at Alum Creek Phase 1.  Alum has enough technical stuff for the experienced rider yet is easy enough for the first timer. There are no real hills to speak of and there is always something new with the continued trail work. 6-miles
Stop #4 at Mohican State Park provides the state’s longest continuous mountain bike trail.  Situated in north central part of the state the Mohican State Park trail is 25 miles of mountain biking goodness.  Everything the experienced cyclist needs; long climbs, fast downhill’s and enough technical sections to make your arms hurt as much as your legs.
