White Star Park
White Star Park is an 800-acre park, including a 15-acre quarry, open everyday of the year 8:00 a.m. - dark. The site includes nature trails, horse trails, play equipment, picnic tables, grills, well water, restrooms, picnic shelters and an accessible fishing platform. The quarry has a depth of 40 feet and is available for non-power boating, fishing, scuba diving and swimming. Vessels must have a valid Ohio boat license. Ohio fishing laws apply. No ice fishing permitted. Common fish caught: bluegill, bullhead, catfish, bass, trout, yellow perch, and pike. Night fishing is allowed on Friday nights from Memorial Day to end of September, but you must exit the park by midnight.
