William Howard Taft National Historic Site

William Howard Taft National Historic Site is the birthplace and boyhood home of William Howard Taft, the 27th President and 10th Chief Justice of the United States. The house is restored to its appearance during the years William Howard Taft lived here as a child and young adult. Staff members conduct tours of the historic rooms. Other rooms display exhibits on Taft's early years and his political career. An education center located adjacent to the house features exhibits highlighting other Taft family contributions to our country. An animatronic Charlie Taft is the signature exhibit of the center.
