MASON, Ohio (April 21, 2009) – Beginning April 16, the Warren County Convention and Visitors Bureau will offer exclusive and affordable vacation package deals online at www.ohioslargestplayground.com.

The packages will range from family fun, to girlfriend getaways, guys great escapes to high adventure and more. Vacation packages will include items such as Kings Island tickets, The Beach Waterpark Tickets, Ozone Zipline Adventure Tour rides, canoeing trips and accommodations to name a few. Packages will include exclusive offers like additional savings and discounts area restaurants and shops. Visitors can purchase these exclusive packages through the WCCVB Web site or by calling (866) 525-2761.

“In light of the current economic conditions, travelers are searching for vacations that are convenient, affordable and close to home,” WCCVB Executive Director Shirley Bonekemper said. “This growing trend in leisure travel has been a major catalyst in the way destinations promote their attractions and accommodations.”

Making this service available to visitors, from trip conception to final purchase, is a pro-active approach the WCCVB is taking to meet the needs of today’s traveler. According to a recent survey conducted by Peter Yesawich, CEO of YPartnership, a leading expert in travel and leisure, 76 percent of travelers will book a packaged vacation to save money.

The first two packages to launch are the Kings Island Getaway Package and the Ride & Roar Family Fun Package. The Kings Island Getaway Package includes tickets to Kings Island, choice of accommodations and coupons and discounts to other area restaurants and shopping.

The Ride & Roar Family Fun Package offers visitors two great experiences for one low price. The package includes Kings Island tickets and Cincinnati Zoo tickets, choice of accommodations and a free Tram pass at the Zoo for each member in your party.

Conveniently located between two major Ohio highways, and nestled equidistant from Cincinnati and Dayton, Warren County offers more to do in a 30 mile radius than anywhere else in Ohio.
