SUGARCREEK, Ohio (Nov. 21, 2008) - Share your favorite holiday cookie recipes in the Heini's Gourmet Market Great Holiday Cookie Bakeoff. Bring out those cookies that get rave reviews at your cookie exchanges and family gatherings.
Heini's Gourmet Market will reveal the top two recipes at the Great Cookie Bakeoff and Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008. We'll bake the top two in our version of a holiday cookie throwdown. Stop by that day from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. to taste and vote for your favorite, sample festive holiday drinks and make holiday cookie ornaments. The top two recipes will receive $100 and $50 Heini's Gourmet Market gift cards and be "crowned" cookie queen or king for the day.
The deadline to submit your cookie recipe is Dec. 2, 2008. E-mail the recipe to Randy Byers at
